Enlightening article that I hope will inspire others to follow. I’m pleased to see a positive movement in putting people first, with good intent and genuine morals, rather than just money in 1st, 2nd & 3rd place

Maybe some will now see, that life is about aiding others, and not perhaps putting ourselves always at the head of the line.

Wonderful to see an article dedicated to this important part of procurement. I manage a social enterprise in Brisbane providing commercial cleaning and landscape maintenance services (including mowing) to government, council and the private sector. Social Procurement not only provides value for money, but also social and economic benefits to the broader community and the staff of social enterprises. We employ people from a variety of backgrounds including experienced horticultural workers and cleaners, alongside people with a mental illness, disability or from a refugee background. Having the security of long term procurement contracts is vital to us; enabling SEED to predict growth and continue our important work.
