Facility Management has announced the winner of its Aug-Sep 2011 reader competition, who receives almost $1600 worth of state-of-the-art digital door locks from Kaba.
Congratulations to Matthew Willox, assistant chief engineer, Intercontinental Sydney, who has won six LS101 digital door locks, courtesy of Kaba and Facility Management.
The professional-grade LS101 digital door lock ($274 RRP each) from Kaba is an ideal and stylish solution for high-traffic zones where secure keyless access is required.
Features of this high-quality unit include:
- Entrance mode: the outside is locked while the inside is unlocked, facilitating a safe exit in the event of an emergency such as fire
- One Touch Mode: press any key outside to unlock, inside unlocked (keypad activated)
- Passage Mode: outside unlocked, inside unlocked (keypad activated).
With 200 user codes (6 digit numbers) as well as a master code (6 digit number), locks can also be overridden by a mechanical key – another safety measure.
If a user makes three incorrect code attempts, there is a 10-second lockout activation.
Sets are powered by four AA standard 1.5V alkaline batteries, which last for approximately 15,000 cycles.
