Applications are now open for the world’s first Master of Business Administration (MBA) program specialising in renewable energy delivered via distance learning, from the Beuth University of Applied Sciences, Berlin.
The program is a partnership between the university and Renewables Academy AG (RENAC), a Berlin-based international provider of training in renewable energy areas, and is designed to suit professionals wishing to study online on a part-time basis alongside their jobs.
As expected in a MBA program, the MBA Renewables will cover economic, technical, legal, political and organisational knowledge, but will have a particular focus on renewable energy industries. The course is designed to be a pathway to working in executive positions in the global market of renewable energy technologies.
The first term will commence in October this year, and other than fluency in English, the admission requirements list a bachelor degree as the only other precondition to entry, although professional experience in or knowledge of economics or engineering would give an advantage, as well as undoubtedly being helpful in completely the course within the scheduled two and a half years.

I hold in MBA from Edinburgh Business School of Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, but am very much interested in pursuing a career in renewable energy. Can your program be of help to me?
