27 September 2011 – Facility Management welcomes new editor Vicky Ellmore, who will take up the position of editor from John Power on 3 October, 2011.
Vicky Ellmore is the new editor of Facility Management, following the decision by outgoing managing editor John Power to leave Niche Media to pursue other interests.
Vicky is a newcomer to Australia, having worked for 18 months as editor of The Journal of Facilities Management in South Africa. In her previous role, Vicky gained a first-hand, international appreciation of the FM industry – knowledge that she is eager to share with her new Australian readership.
“The FM industry in Australia and around the world is undergoing rapid change,” Vicky says. “I look forward to offering a global perspective to readers as the industry evolves throughout the Asia-Pacific region.”
Outgoing managing editor John Power says he is delighted to be handing over the reins to a capable and knowledgeable expert.
“I’ve enjoyed my three and a half years at Niche Media working on FM and I wish Vicky every success in her new role,” John says. “I invite all readers to contact her to make her welcome.”
