NABERS training series open for registrations

By on February 27, 2012 in News

The 2012 NABERS training series for people to become accredited assessors or simply better understand how the NABERS rating tools work are now open for registration. Courses are being held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra.

The NABERS Introduction Seminar will assist attendees to better understand NABERS ratings and their obligations under the Commercial Building Disclosure scheme (CBD), which requires anyone selling or leasing office space greater than 2 000 metre squared to disclose a NABERS Energy rating. NABERS is the industry standard for measuring the real environmental impact of Australian buildings. For owners and tenants of buildings, it provides a simple way to measure, report, improve and promote environmental performance. For those who wish to conduct NABERS ratings, the Accredited Assessor Training Courses (Offices/Hotels and Shopping Centres) provides a pathway to accreditation.
