Since 1875 James L. Williams has created environmentally insightful design solutions for the mechanical and air-conditioning services industry.
Our core business is the installation and maintenance of air-conditioning mechanical services, and our key business divisions include:
• Major projects
• Specialised projects
• Service and maintenance
We are well equipped in all facets of the industry that includes use of cutting edge technology and equipment, to offering the most cost-effective and highly sustainable heating and cooling engineering and design solutions.
We have designed, installed, commissioned and serviced many landmark buildings from corporate, multi-use dwellings, hospitals, PC2 and PC3 cleanrooms to mining and industrial sites. Flagship projects include the Rialto, 101 Collins Street in Melbourne, City of Lights in Abu Dhabi and Standard Chartered Bank, Dubai.
Increasingly we choose projects that are sustainable and have worked on leading 6-star green energy rated buildings such as Council House 2, the Melbourne Convention Centre, Pixel and LaTrobe University’s Centre for AgriBioscience, which includes the largest PC3 area in Australia.
Originally based in Melbourne, we now also operate out of Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and the United Arab Emirates. We are made up of a diverse cross section of people of all ages and backgrounds from all over the globe.
The success of James L. Williams is both a legacy of and a tribute to the energies and visions of its founder, James Lambert Williams. His vision and commitment have been continued, enlarged and reinvigorated by successive generations of Williams’ in an unbroken line of family management spanning over 137 years.
