BuildingIQ launches version 4.0 of Predictive Energy Optimization software
BuildingIQ, one of the leading providers of advanced energy management software that predict and manage HVAC loads in commercial buildings, recently announced the release of version 4.0 of its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to optimise energy use in commercial buildings.
The latest version builds upon the company’s successful Predictive Energy Optimization software and offers streamlined analytics, increased visibility into savings and improved managed services – all protected by high-tech Internet security.
Featuring an intuitive interface, the new version of the software offers real-time transparency into energy operations. Customised thermal model that use variables such as weather forecasts, utility signals, building characteristics and occupant comfort, it allows real-time changes to building controls.
The new platform displays predictive and retrospective data that allow the users to view the adjustments made to the operating system. The results can be accessed in a consolidated and standardised view irrespective of the kind of legacy system employed in a building. With increased scores in LEED, Energy Star, NABERS and other sustainability measures, the company claims it saves users 10 to 25 percent in HVAC energy costs.
The company has also enhanced its managed services offering to provide 24X7 access to BuildingIQ’s trained engineers, who regularly monitor building performance to determine other energy-saving options and identify energy drains for the building.
“BuildingIQ’s new enhancements provide more support and increased visibility into a buildings operations and energy usage. We also eliminate the risk when choosing our solution by offering it on a subscription basis and guarantee the delivery of energy savings without upfront capital required. Users are essentially signing up for free cash flow,” said Michael Nark, president & CEO of BuildingIQ.
The cloud-based software employs the latest security measures and incorporates new security features to protect its customers’ building management systems (BMS) and IT systems. The software also comes with an automatic update facility to keep up with the latest upgrades.
