Become more energy efficient and reduce your bills
An Australian business framework developer, Aeris Environmental, has launched a new business operational platform helping businesses to become more energy efficient.
Australian businesses spent $46 billion on energy in one year, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics – 71 percent by large businesses, with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) making up almost a third (29 percent) of this usage. Industry-leading company Aeris Environmental has launched AerisControls, a new scalable suite of seven business operational platforms to help all businesses reduce their energy usage.
The ability to utilise bespoke, scalable and cost-effective business operational platforms is now financially possible for SME’s and smaller commercial landlords – technology that was once only affordable by large organisations and building management companies. These systems will provide them with a better understanding of energy usage and where savings can be made.
Offering greater control than similarly priced alternatives, AerisControls allows businesses to run return on investment (ROI) analyses, predictive maintenance and has been built with affordability and flexibility in mind, says Aeris Environmental’s CEO, Peter Bush.
“Energy bills are one of the biggest concerns for businesses, which is why high-quality business operational platforms are so important. Historically, these products have taken a one-size-fits-all approach, resulting in many having to buy functionality they don’t need and making them too expensive for SMEs altogether,” Bush says.
“The range starts at just $350 for a Smart Wall Controller that allows heating, ventilation, lighting and air-conditioning to be controlled via a direct interface, or remotely on a computer or smartphone. For larger companies, the AerisControls suite of products offers a complete system to provide building layouts and asset level reports, alarms and information, as well as preventative maintenance alerts.”
AerisControls has also been built on Niagara 4 to provide a pure web interface based on HTML5 views, better data visualisation, better security, improved device management and greater scope for customisation.
“By utilising open-source programs, we have created a platform that is completely customisable, allowing businesses to efficiently understand typically hidden business operational costs through control, monitoring of performance and energy, visualisation and management and maintenance,” Bush says.
“The system can be adapted by in-house experts, or our Aeris engineers to suit the client’s needs and create the first step in driving energy efficiencies.”
The range of AerisControls are also compatible with AerisView, the company’s graphic interface and dashboard system, which is designed to help companies further visualise the performance of their assets and drive efficiencies.
AerisControls and engineering support and platinum partnership packages are available via the Aeris Environmental sales team. To find out more about the range or to order, email the team on firstname.lastname@example.org or call +612 8344 1315.
