ISS beats record, wins 12 awards for excellent customer service
ISS Facility Services has won twelve awards at the Customer Service Institute of Australia’s (CSIA) 2015 Service Excellence Awards which took place on 28 October at Crown Palladium, Melbourne.
Quoted as the ‘Oscars of customer service’, the annual Service Excellence Awards are Australia’s premier customer service awards. They recognise the ingenuity and innovation of the country’s most outstanding customer service-driven organisations and individuals across a broad industry base.
ISS was proud to take home three National Awards for Individuals, including Darryl Prince, Director of People and Culture for ISS, who won Chief Customer Officer of the Year for the second consecutive year. Greg Gately, Executive General Manager for the Aviation & Transport Division of ISS won Customer Service Executive of the Year, and Nick Athan-Iksidis, who is the Key Account Manager of the Crown Casino contract for ISS, won Customer Service Manager of the Year.
The award haul also included nine State Awards, for seven individual employees and also the Large Organisation award for NSW and Training Organisation Award for QLD.
Endorsed by the Prime Minister of Australia, the Awards are in their fifteenth year. ISS was delighted to be recognised again at this prestigious event, where they received nine awards in 2014 and eight in 2013. To beat both these records in its third year of nominations is a fantastic demonstration of ISS performance in customer service and the dedication of its employees. It shows that the business is well on the way to achieving its vision to become ‘the world’s greatest service organisation’.
Dane Hudson, CEO of Australia & New Zealand commented: “We are continuing on our journey to become the world’s greatest service organisation, and this many awards is testament to our progress. With the majority of our 13,000 employees across Australia customer-facing, delivering the best service is a clear way to differentiate ourselves from our competitors. Our training programs are unique to ISS and therefore tailored to help employees understand their purpose and deliver beyond expectations every day.
Anouche Newman, Chief Executive of the Customer Service Institute of Australia said “The awards are more and more competitive each year, and this year saw an incredibly high standard. Each winning individual and organisation should be very proud of their achievement. Their awards are testament to their commitment to customer service excellence and passion for creating great customer experiences.”
