Knight Frank appoints new COO for Au/NZ
Knight Frank has appointed Justin Jefferies as chief operating officer and a member of the Australian board.
Based in Sydney, Justin Jefferies will commence as chief operating officer (COO) at Knight Frank 21 January, 2014 and work alongside Knight Frank Australia’s executive chairman, Stephen Ellis. They will continue building the Australian business after group managing director, Kevin Coppel’s relocation to Singapore in April 2014.
Jefferies has over 10 years’ experience in the commercial property industry and extensive experience working in leadership and operational management roles within large organisations in the United States.
Jefferies joins Knight Frank after working at CBRE as managing director – Greater Los Angeles & Orange County, for four years and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the region, including nine offices and over 1000 employees. Previous to this role, Jefferies was managing director – Los Angeles Central at CBRE where he led the asset management, brokerage and investment properties lines of business in the region.
Jefferies holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Political Science from The University of Michigan. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation and the American Australian Association and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.
